    Life Members may be elected by application from qualified specialists who are involved in the hernia surgery certified by a National Board. Each applicant shall be proposed by one Life Member and seconded by another Life Member. The application should be sent to the Secretary General. The Executive Committee will decide on the application for Life Membership by a simple majority vote
